FootballChristian Pulisic: AC Milan Fans Create Chant for Ex Chelsea Star After Bright Start at San Siro
- Christian Pulisic left Chelsea after four years and joined Italian giants AC Milan
- The American endured an inconsistent time at Chelsea, disturbed by injuries
- He is already winning over his new fans, who have created a new chant for him
AC Milan fans are loving Christian Pulisic and have created a chant for their new attacker, who joined from Chelsea this summer and scored in his opening two games.
Pulisic left Chelsea after four years, having struggled to make a consistent impact, majorly due to a lack of opportunities and struggles with injuries.
He chose Milan as his next destination after it was communicated that he was not in Mauricio Pochettino's plans for the future. His departure was part of a mass exodus of stars at Stamford Bridge.
As reported by The Athletic, Milan paid €20mil for the American winger, and he signed a four-year contract at San Siro. His bright star to life has impressed his new fans.
Milan fans create Pulisic chant
The 24-year-old impressed in pre-season and was rewarded with a start on the left wing in the opening game against Bologna, in which he scored a brilliant goal from outside the box to help the team win 2-0.
He made his home debut in front of the San Siro fans in the 4-1 win over Torino and found the back of the net again. According to Football Italia, he became the fifth Milan star to score in their first two games, including former Blue, Andriy Shevchenko.
This has earned him a chant from Curva Sud ultras: "Lalalala Christian pulisic lalalala Christian pulisic", as heard in a video making waves on social media.
He is among the four former Chelsea stars in the Milan XI, including Olivier Giroud, Fikayo Tomori, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Pulisic admits Chelsea regret
Sports Brief earlier reported that Pulisic had regrets at Chelsea, and it included his lack of opportunities to be the main player during his four-year stint at the London club.
However, he was proud to be part of a successful era under German boss Thomas Tuchel, in which the team won three major trophies, including the UEFA Champions League.
